Have has an email from Barry G8SAU re GB3GR – the backup Yaesu DR-1X Fusion system is in place till the TAIT 800 is repaired, so there is no internet linking at the moment.
It does have both Analog and Digital modes enabled. (AS Per its NOV) – Barry was unable to contact anyone while on site doing the changeover.
Barry would like some feedback as the the usage of GB3GR are there Fusion Users? Is it being used?
Following two successful years meeting at the 47F Grantham ATC we have unfortunately been forced to find a new venue.
The new meeting place with be the 9th Grantham (St Anne’s) Scout Hut on Harrowby Road, which is behind the St Anne’s Church Hall we used to meet at in the past.
This has been made possible to our involvement with the Grantham Scouts over a number of years both in JOTA activations and working with groups in gaining communication badges. Stewart Mason has also become a leader at the Barrowby Scouts.
There will be a charge for the venue so we ask members to donate £2 at meetings to cover the costs, but tea, coffee and biscuits will still be free.
